a community engagement artist at heart, adam practices in the connectivity, education and inspiration of people through mural projects that beautify communities, schools and cities. adam received his bfa in illustration from the ringling school of art & design but has pursued the visual arts as his life’s passion since childhood. he serves as a commissioner on greenville’s art in public places commission and as a teaching artist and mentor of smartarts an arts integration program. when Adam is not painting you can find him in the garden, by the water and with his family.

Business Development & Community Outreach

jessie is a people person who is constantly pursuing the big picture—while making sure the small details aren't overlooked. she supports the blank canvas team administratively, through new business development and community outreach. since moving to greenville in march 2020, Jessie has been eager for a way to connect with the art community and utilize her art administration background. aside from blank canvas, you can find her trying new food and brews with her favorite people, or sprucing up her home and yard.

Arts Integrated Murals Teaching Artist

Kephira loves to paint, and hopes to share that love with her students. She works with young people across the upstate through Blank Canvas's mural residency program and as an ARMES visual art instructor with Greenville County Schools. Kephira received her BFA in 2D Studio from Lander University, and is currently pursuing her MFA in studio art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. On the off chance that Kephira is not in her studio, she is most likely watching Disney movies with her family or camping out with her church youth group.
